Bachelor of Science Honours In Counselling (4 years)

Entry Requirements

Passed at least five ‘O’ level subjects including English at grade C or better or

Joined the programme through the Accreditation of Prior Learning.

Have a recognized professional qualification in a human service profession, such as teaching, nursing and social work.

Master of Science in Counselling (2 years)

Entry Requirements

A relevant and related degree from a recognized university with a minimum degree class of 2.2 or better.

Applicants should have at least two years relevant working experience.

Career Prospects

Graduates can work in several sectors at all levels as professional counsellors, victim friendly unit police officers, social workers , human resources managers, project officers, probation officers, teachers and nurse counsellors, as specialists in Government and Non Governmental Organisations. They can also work as researchers in the various settings of the community where they can effectively assist those vulnerable people such as children and persons with disabilities by giving them rehabilitation services.
