A minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and Science at Grade C or better. Diploma or Certificate in Education from any recognised Teachers' College or university for the 3-Year Programme.
Bachelor Of Education In Early Childhood Development(Becd) (4 Years) (Non-Diploma Holders Or School Leavers - Pre-Service)
A minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and Science at grade C or better.
Bachelor Of Education In Early Childhood Development (Becd) (3 Years) (Diploma Holders - In-Service)
A diploma or certificate in Education (Early Childhood Development or Infant School Education) OR Gained advanced standing through the accreditation of prior learning (APL) route.
Career prospects for graduates from the Department of Teacher Development include teaching in institutions of higher education, teaching in primary and secondary schools, taking up managerial posts in education, the public and private sectors, becoming school heads, principals, education officers and curriculum developers.
