Welcome to the ZOU Mashonaland West Region centre for distance learning. Our aim is to be recognised as a world class university regional centre which offers open and distance learning.

Our core values are dedication to the highest levels of excellence, creation of an innovative culture, promotion of integrity, adherence to highest levels of ethical standards and delighting stakeholders.

We are situated at the Public Service Complex next to Chinhoyi University of Technology. The centre is ideal for open learning. Mashonaland West Province is one of the 10 provinces of Zimbabwe. It boosts the country's major economic activities which are agriculture, mining and tourism. Mashonaland West is popularly known as the bread basket of Zimbabwe because of its agricultural output. The offices are easily accessible to all our students from our six districts which are Kadoma, Chegutu, Makonde, Kariba, Chinhoyi and Zvimba. The town (Chinhoyi) is 115 km from Harare along the Great North Road Linking Zimbabwe and countries to the north of the Zambezi River which include Zambia, DRC, Tanzania and Kenya. Come to ZOU Mashonaland West Regional Centre and be empowered through open and distance learning.
