TWENTY three students among them teachers, court interpreters and police officers were awarded certificates in different Sign Language levels which were offered by the Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Faculty of Applied Social Sciences Department of Disability Studies and Special Needs Education at a graduation ceremony at Century Towers in the capital recently.
The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Faculty of Science and Technology held a BSc Nursing Science Practicum Supervision workshop at Century Towers in the capital on 28 February 2018.
The workshop was attended by Director of Nursing Services in the Ministry of Health and Child Care, Dr. C.M.Z. Chasokela, Faculty of Science and Technology Dean, Professor T.P. Z Mpofu, Department of Health Sciences Chairperson, Ms M Chitura, Programme Leaders, Health Sciences Regional Programme Coordinators and staff from the National Centre.
The Zimbabwe Open University’s Higher Degrees Directorate held a two-day proposals and chapters presentation and defence workshop for their PhD students in the capital recently.
The two day workshop saw a total of 11 students presenting their work.
Out of the 11 students, four of them, Gumbo Olivia, Muchena Patricia, Mugari Abisha and Tsvuura Godfrey presented chapter while the other seven presented proposals.
Among those who presented their proposals was Harare Metropolitan Province Minister of State, Mirriam Chikukwa, who spoke highly about the ZOU brand.
