Mashonaland Central Regional Campus successfully hosted their inaugural Fundraising Dinner dance that was held at their Bindura Campus last Friday.
The theme of the dinner dance was: Breaking Boundaries, Making History.
The purpose of the Fundraising event was to raise money to build a multi-purpose hall, library, canteen and installation of a solar system among other important developments to ensure the University improves on service delivery to students who are catered for by the Regional Campus.
Speaking at the event Mashonaland Central Regional Campus Regional Director, Dr Cuthbert Majoni thanked all the stakeholders who were present for taking their time off their busy schedules to grace their occasion. Dr Majoni also said that the event was meant to make people know more about the brand ZOU.
The Regional Campus made available 25 tables which were all occupied, a clear indication that the event was a success. Some of the partners that bought tables of 10 people which had prices ranging from $350, $400 and $500 are ZRP, Econet, Paddy, CBZ, Nyaradzo, POSB, Bindura University, ZEGU, ZOUSSA, SRC and ZOU Department of Educational Studies part time tutors.
