ZOU Manicaland Regional Campus continue to shine

The Zimbabwe Open University Manicaland Regional Campus continued to put the institution on the world map by winning two prestigious awards at the just ended Megafest Awards ceremony held in Mutare recently.

The two awards, The most outstanding institution of the year and an individual award, The exemplary business Personality of the Year were awarded to Mr Kenneth Saruchera, the Manicaland Regional Campus Regional Director. 

The ZOU Manicaland Regional Campus was recognised as one of the best institution that is producing graduates that are making significant impact in the socio, economic and political development of Manicaland Province. 

Other competitors included all the Higher and Tertiary Institutions in Manicaland namely, Africa University, Mutare Polytechnic College, Mutare Teachers College and Vocational Training Centres. 

Key stakeholders in Manicaland are increasingly recognising the ZOU Manicaland Regional Campus as a leading player in Higher and Tertiary Education in the Province.

Other renowned companies that were available at this momentous event  included Willowton Group, Mega Market, Troutbeck Inn Hotel, The White Horse Inn Hotel, Hillcrest College, Milestone Group of Schools, Dongo Sawmills, Wattle Company, Capital Timbers, The Manica Post, Diamond FM, Daily News, Financial Gazette, ZETDC, TelOne, City of Mutare, Chipinge Town Council, Quest Motors, NSSA and Mutare Propshaft Centre.

In 2017, the Regional Campus scooped the Best Tertiary Institutions of the year award in yet another set up that included all other institutions of higher learning in the province.
