ZOU leaves indelible mark at ZITF

THE Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU)’s participation at this year’s edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) has left an indelible mark in the city of Kings and Queens.

The institution of higher learning took part at this year’s international trade showcasing arena under the theme; “Sustainable, Inclusive, Competitive and Collaborative Industrial Development through Open and Distance Learning”.

The prestigious annual event was officially opened by the President of Zimbabwe, Cde Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, who wished all the participants at this year’s event a turnaround in all their business prospects.

The major goals for ZOU’s participation at the event were market research, to influence growth in terms of student enrolment, revenue growth, marketing of short courses offered by CPD, marketing other ancillary ODL services, to showcase ZOU LIS, Higher Degrees, Research and ICT products and services as well as the awareness of ZOU Virtual Campus, among others.

Aspiring students encouraged ZOU to come up with a wide range of degree programmes  that include Law, Supply Chain Management, Risk management and Masters programmes that include Media and Communication, Development Studies, just to mention a few.
