Faculty of Agriculture

Historical Background The Faculty of Agriculture was established in June 2014 in recognition of the significance of Agriculture to the national economy and food security and nutrition under ZIMASSET and the increasing need by many would be farmers to acquire sustainable Agriculture knowledge. Zimbabwe’s economy is agro-based with over 20 % of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) coming from Agriculture. 

Faculty of IT and Multimedia Communications

About the Faculty Zimbabwe has a growing Information and Communications industry. The sustained growth of that sector is among other issues reliant on human capital development. Currently this industry is serviced by graduates from conventional universities, technical colleges and polytechnics. The Faculty of Information Technology and Multimedia Communication exists to empower students with relevant skills to meet these industrial challenges and needs through open distance learning pedagogies.
