The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) Harare Regional Campus donated various goods and foodstuffs to Mr Stephen Nyamapfeka of Hatcliffe in Harare recently.

Mr Nyamapfeka is a father of four children, three of whom are Albinos.

Not only did the Regional Campus provide goods, they even enrolled Mr Nyamapfeka’s three children at Hatcliffe Primary School. ZOU is paying school fees and providing uniforms and stationery for the school children.

One is in Grade 2, while the two are in ECD.

The Harare Regional Campus went an extra mile to assist the other two children to acquire birth certificates.

The goods donated to Mr Nyamapfeka’s family include flour, sugar, mealie meal, cooking oil, salt, washing and bathing soap, toiletries, sunscreen and many more.

Mr Clemence Mabaso, the Harare Regional Campus Director, said that the donation was part of their social responsibility as an Institution in an effort to uplift communities.

The Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) was recently honoured by the Albino Trust of Zimbabwe for their unwavering efforts in improving lives of people with disabilities.
