The Mashonaland East, Student Representative Council (SRC) pledges to work with the Vice Chancellor, Professor Paul Henry Gundani to take ZOU to another level.
Welcoming the Vice Chancellor and his entourage, the SRC National Vice President and Mashonaland East Chapter, Shingirayi Chivasa pledged the SRC support in steering the ZOU ship to success. “As SRC we promise to render you all the tools you may desire to take ZOU to another level., together we can and together we will” he said.
Appreciating the welcome, Professor Gundani paid homage to both the SRC, Alumni and the Staff members at the Regional campus. He took time to interface with each and every member as he toured the campus taking note of their concerns, successes and challenges. In his main address, the Vice Chancellor emphasised quality and excellence in all University operations.
The incoming Pro Vice Chancellor, Academic Affairs, Professor Ermson Zuva Nyakatawa, who joined ZOU with effect from 1 December 2019 was also introduced officially to the regional campus. Professor Nyakatawa joined ZOU from Chinhoyi University of Technology on 1 December 2019.
The visit was the 8th Vice Chancellor’s regional campus interface with staff, since his appointment on 1 October 2019.
