BACHELOR OF SCIENCE HONOURS IN AGRICULTURAL MANAGEMENT
- Understand scientific principles and theories in agricultural science
- Apply scientific knowledge to sustainable production of animal and crop products
- Use scientific and technological skills to manage agricultural production
- Identify and solve problems in agricultural production
- Design and manage agricultural production systems
To be admitted to the programme a prospective student must have:
- At least 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject incorporating Biology and Chemistry (e.g. Integrated Science, General Science, Agriculture, Chemistry and Biology) at Grade C or better
- Advanced Level passes in Biology or Agriculture plus any other Science subject
- Diploma or Certificate in Agriculture or related field of study
- Articulation as provided by the ZNQF
- A prospective student may be admitted on special entry or through Accreditation of Prior Learning route in accordance with the University’s General Academic Regulations.
The student is expected to accumulate a minimum of 504 credit points to be considered to have met the requirements of the Bachelor of Science Honours in Agricultural Management.
Part I = minimum of 120 credits
Part II = minimum of 120 credits
Part III = minimum of 144 credits
Part IV = minimum of 120 credits
