Welcome To Zimbabwe Open University Manicaland Campus
The regional campus is a beacon for the university in Manicaland province through provision of high quality Open and Distance e- Learning. It has a unique community engagement strategy that has built strong strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. The campus has enabled the university to earn the best institution award from ZNCC for contributing to human capital development. It has a staff and student body that actively participate in community programmes that include research, innovation, industrialization and social development.

This department is headed by the Student Advisor who is there to offer guidance and counseling to students who have challenges affecting their studies.
Student Representative Council
The region has an active student representative body where all registered students are expected to be part of so that they can share experiences, challenges and also suggest solutions. The Council is also involved in sporting activities for all ZOU registered students.

Tutorials for the region are held at Mutare Polytechnic and Mutare Teachers’ Colleges.

Manicaland regional campus is located in the city of Mutare at Stand No. 992 ‘C’ Avenue, Mutare where the administration, academic and other non-academic staff are housed. The region has a staff complement of 32, 7 of them academic and 26 non-academic. The regional campus has an average student enrolment of 1746 students. District Centres
The regional campus also operates through district centres in Buhera, Chipinge, Makoni, and Nyanga districts. Makoni and Nyanga districts are manned by resident Administrative Assistants.
