The Technovation Hub is the Zimbabwe Open University’s collaborative space for technological
research and development, commercialisation and business incubation that supports the
knowledge-based industry. The Hub is located in the 6 th floor, Corner House . Its objective is to
contribute to national economic growth through initiating new ideas, experimenting, iterating
and fine-tuning until the ideas are transformed into goods and services that are integrated into
business. Therefore, the hub enables active knowledge transfer between researchers and business experts, industry, government and representatives of academia. Opportunities abound for decision makers to meet and brainstorm with scientists and business experts and discuss
solutions to their complex business challenges.
