In his address to participants, Professor Gundani welcomed and thanked the participants for choosing to be trained by ZOU on this important and topical issue that is affecting our country. He implored that drugs and illicit substances are destroying the lives of both our youth and adults, putting their future into great darkness. Both the production and service sectors have been affected by the same scourge. The use of drugs and illicit substances is making their lives vulnerable and prone to destruction.  He called upon participants to go and raise awareness in all their sphere of lives to save a generation and the country at large,

“I therefore expect you to go and be ambassadors. Go and raise awareness in families, communities, workplaces, in the media and in the church. Let’s use all the opportunities that we have to spread the word. We all have a duty to serve a generation and the country at large.”    He charged.
