ZOU’s 2025 National Student Representative Council Elections and Induction Workshop Kicks Off
The 2025 Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU) National Student Representative Council (SRC) Elections and Induction Workshop officially began on April 10, 2025, at the Zimbabwe Institute of Public Administration and Management (ZIPAM) in Darwendale, Mashonaland West. The three-day workshop marked the start of a new chapter for the SRC, with a focus on leadership development and capacity building.

The opening session featured a presentation on “The Foundations of Leadership” by Jimmy, SAYWHAT, Executive Director. During his presentation, Jimmy emphasized the importance of three key actions that form the basis of effective leadership: speaking, reading, and writing. These fundamental skills are essential for leaders to communicate effectively, make informed decisions, and inspire their teams.
